That’s a bit ridiculous if their unsold tickets in house are premium and someone has a spare one for £75 or less.
I checked yesterday for a few seats and saw sections and rows that were originally £75 are now £200. That’s really just not on that they’ve expanded the premium sections.
If people are going to be led to a returns queue to strictly sell their spare tickets for face value cash, then the house should also re-sell their returns from Ticketmaster at the same price too.

So if there's one ticket left at 200 premium they won´t help.
It seems that for them sold is sold so no need to have a friendly customer service team to customers with tickets, since they already have your money. A shame. Hope Ticketmaster helps.
Lottery tickets that aren't accepted go back to 75 or 200 pounds as well.
Resale for more money isn't accepted but the venue does it. Ridiculous.

Does anyone have any decent (affordable) hotel suggestions for Victoria? We’ve done a couple of the less pleasant Belgrave Rd properties, and the Premiere Inn, but there will be five of us this time so 2 rooms required.

The most affordable place would be the EasyHotel. I've stayed there a few times. The rooms are tiny and some of them don't have a window, but the beds are comfy and that's enough for me. You can get a great deal if you book soon enough.
The Premier Inn is a great hotel (and their breakfast is amazing) but it can be quite pricey.

Does anyone know if it would be possible to buy two tickets and return only one of them? I'm going to London by myself and I've been checking Ticketmaster often for returns, but I haven't seen any single seats that are cheaper than £200, there are always two of them there.

I get an employee discount there, and I know what I’m getting. I stayed at an easyhotel once before which put me off for life. Vomit on one of the hallway carpets...

Does anyone know why Saturday the 8th of September isn’t on sale yet? Possible cast change?
I’m sure there is a random date in August that isn’t as well

I would advise to wait. A few days before the event there will be cheaper tickets. What I said this morning: The day before at 7 or 8 the lottery tickets that were declined go back on sale.
This morning there were no tickets for tomorrow's show. Now there are 8 tickets from 57,5 - 75,00.

I've never had a bad experience, but I understand why you would never want to stay there again. Premier Inn is great. Probably the best hotel chain in the UK, but the one near Victoria keeps charging more and more for a night everytime I check. The one at Earl's Court tends to be cheaper and it became my favourite. But of course you would need to take the tube.

I’m sure there is a random date in August that isn’t as well According to a post earlier in the thread cast change is apparently 24 November, but who knows! I can't imagine they'd hold cast change dates off sale, and certainly not two shows on a cast change day. Maybe they're doing some sort of charity gala performance or some other special show. Or else it's just sold out but Ticketmaster has put the wrong message up, which is probably more likely.

For those that have missed out; new booking period for the London production of Hamilton will go on sale on Monday 4 June 2018 at 12 noon GMT. Tickets will then be available to be purchased for performances up to Saturday 30 March 2019 via official Hamilton ticketing channels.
No news on any cast changes

I'm sure it's nothing more than a coincidence, but 8 September is the date of Last Night of the Proms and Proms in the Park.
Just imagine King George singing Rule Britannia!!!

Ignore my previous advice (now removed) about buying tix and selling on Noticeboard or by any other method. I keep forgetting the Hamilton T&C’s strictly forbid this (probably because they’re ridiculous). Monkey had to kick me up the bum about it.. again.
As you were!

Any news on ticket prices for the new booking period? It's only a matter of time before @theatremonkey has a website graphic where every single seat is grey, that's if Lion King don't beat them to it

Some people on the site might actually know eachother. Is it any different to buying a few tickets and then e-mailing some of your friends to see who wants to come?

Hamilton is heading to the Edinburgh Fringe this August!
Well, not really, but Napier University Drama Society are performing their original musical "And Peggy" there.

Damn that finishes before I get there! There is also a Hamilton parody based on the life of Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton which I am tempted to see!

Thank you everyone for answering! I found out that Ticketmaster has a Twitter account for their customer service which replies quite quickly. I asked them and they told me that returning only one ticket is possible.

Does the severity of Giles’ lisp vary from day to day? I’m here at the matinee and it seems much more pronounced than I recall it being back in December!
‘Dear Theodosia’ sounded more like ‘Dear Deodosia’.
Or maybe it’s just that I’ve listened to the broadway cast a lot since then so it’s bothering me more...

Didnt notice a lisp a few weeks ago. Maybe you only hear it if you know of it beforehand or pay attenyion to it.

A combination of listening to the cast recording between trip 1 and 2 and seeing Sifiso on my first time meant I really struggled with Giles on my 2nd visit!

I thought him and the actor playing Lafayette were the best actors in Hamilton.

Well it just depends on individuals then - I knew about it beforehand but didn't notice it at all when I saw him in the role back in Dec.

But I really didn’t notice it much in December and it was really really noticeable yesterday - that’s why I’m wondering if it varies in severity.

I would think it's always the same, but it's how sound manage it each day. There's clearly a lot of tweaking that goes on with his voice, at certain times to me he sounded almost recorded, but I presume some days they just don't catch it in the same way.

One thing I was a bit annoyed by in Hamilton, and curious if other people think the same, was that {Spoiler - click to view} King George wasn't part of the ensemble before the interval. After the interval he appeared, still in character on stage, but out of nowhere until suddenly he was part of the ensemble and started dancing with them. Didn't really like that. Totally out of character.

Oh, that would make sense. I guess the acoustic may be a bit different up in the Upper circle compared to the dress, too, and that could affect how it sounds.
