Sod the resolutions, let's just dream big...what are you dreaming of happening in theatre land in 2019? revival of an old favourite? something new by someone you love? dream casting in a musical you love? Throw them out here for a bit of New Year's fun...
I just want justice for the 'Hog. I want Groundhog Day back, I will even sacrifice Andy Karl (not literally just someone else in the role) for it to happen.

A London production of Hello Dolly, because I never managed to see it on Broadway. I wouldn't even really mind if it was Bette or Bernadette!

The Henry VI - Richard III Shakespeares together, somewhere non-London like Sheffield or the Royal Exchange, with a cast including Youssef Kerkour.

Look Back in Anger with David Tennant at Found111
After seeing The Dazzle in this ramshackle intimate space, always thought the David Tennant radio version from a few years ago would have beeen perfect for the space.

Does it still exist? I thought it was temporarily in the old St Martins building before it was turned into obscenely expensive flats.

Sylvia reprise, this time finished, so that all the naysaying stops and people realise the gem we have on our hands. Fun Home transfer. NT to revive His Dark Materials. Andrew Scott in literally anything, prefably at the Almeida because it’s near my house. Neil Patrick Harris to do something big and gay in London. Hedwig? For the Arcola to produce something I desperately want to see so that I actually go to the theatre closest to me, rather than constantly having better options in the West End.

Thriller to close.
Cinema screenings for Company and The Inheritance.
Transfers for Fun Home, The Watsons, The Cane, Sweat and The York Realist.
ATG to bring lots of wonderful plays to the Ambassadors.
Decent graphics / marketing for The Old Vic - it is drab at the minute.

Another successful New York holiday in March.
That I achieve my bid preference in the spring so I can see Muriel’s Wedding in Sydney.
Some more shows that I enjoy as much as I did this year.

Once on this island transfer would do me down to the ground. Don't mind who's cast tbf, Alex Newell would be lush, but anyone would do. I just want to see this production!!!! So gutted I'm missing it by a matter of weeks; the only show I actually wanted to see on bway atm!
Fun Home, Sylvia and Romantics Anonymous transfers/reprises wouldn't be too bad either....

Neil Patrick Harris to do something big and gay in London. Hedwig? This is now my 2019 mood. Neil P H being big and gay in London is all I want. I'd throw all the money at that.

Well my biggest 2019 theatrical wish was a Waitress transfer and that was granted so yay.
So now I suppose I’d like a Mean Girls transfer announcement, a Heathers tour or return to a smaller theatre, agree with the filming of Company and I’d definitely love a Hello Dolly transfer too but I doubt that’s going to happen.
Also I hope Lea Michele either does more concerts or even a theatre role next year because the LMDC Tour reignited my love for her as a performer.

Sweeney Todd in London, with Killian Donnelly to take over as the demon barber when he's available.
Mean Girls transfer to West End.
Memphis, anytime, anywhere.
Willemijn Verkaik in the UK singing something, anything.
And definitely to see more stuff I've never seen.

I want the National to decide to release all their cinema screenings on DVD. I want to see so many again! Frankenstein, Saint Joan, Streetcar Named Desire, View from the Bridge and most of all, The Deep Blue Sea.

Groundhog Day returns to London (ideally the West End).
Agree with the person who mentioned more Lea Michele content, would love to see her work more over here.
For the amazing cast of Bat Out Of Hell, who I have grown to love in my short time with musical theatre, to all succeed & get amazing roles in the next year.
Lastly: to be surprised by great shows that aren’t even on my radar right now! Not much better than a good surprise.
