Wow, I've just booked front row for £25! So excited, I missed it 2 years ago. That’s an amazing price! which performance? 20th. All tickets are £25 and looking at the site there are still tickets available

It’s a Theatre Board takeover of the Palladium on the 17th. Brilliant. Maybe get a meet up arranged now things are clearer?

I haven't heard anything about the 17th evening yet, slightly confused that others going to the same show have already heard! I'm expecting my ticket to be cancelled, but still.
Also in my experience hardly anyone sticks to the entry times on the ticket. I haven't for any show I've been to so far and no-one has said anything. No way am I sitting in a theatre for 45 mins before the show even starts!

My e mail doesn't give any times and just says e ticket will be sent nearer the time. Mind you I quite like getting there early as I'm always worried about delays en route and quite like to sit there reading the programme and people watching.

I sent an e mail to LWT yesterday to see if there was anything they could do as my aisle seat in Row G of the stalls has been moved to Row T of the stalls but 5 seats in. I always book aisle seats due to disability issues. I got a reply later last night which was polite but basically made it clear that I was lucky to be going and I can get a refund if I want to cancel but they cannot offer me any other seat. I did look at the seating plan now that the date is back on sale and, yes, there is nothing. It wouldnt surprise me if this was the most booked performance of the run. Anyway I have decided to go ahead as I want to be at Linzi's first performance and as there will be no one sitting either side of me, hopefully I can manoeuvre myself in the seat to keep my leg straight.

Just got the evening tickets through. Between us we had 2 pairs of row A tickets- one pair has stayed in row A, and the other moved back to row D.
Looks like my first double show day since JCS last summer is on, and a Linzi/ JD double show day at that!

For those who’ve heard recently were you due to go to the matinee or evening? I’m still waiting on the evening and it’s killing me. I lost my tickets. Rebooked slightly more expensive ones within 15 minutes but glad I saw the email swiftly!

I know they are likely loosing money on this socially distanced week, but there should be a balance between that and looking after existing bookings made in good faith

We had a 4 and a 3 at bottom price, now got 3 pairs and a 1!

So my end of row seat was £65 whereas further in they were more expensive which is why I think they moved me back so far to put me in a seat within the same price band. I'd have been happy paying a little bit more but not the premium prices.

Important in the palladium as the curve at the ends of the rows really affects leg room.

Everyone going on the 17th needs to cheer really loudly for Linzi! I think she will be a bit nervous so let’s raise the roof for her and show our support!

I think Roxie just meant cheer extra loudly for her at the end of all her numbers and at the top of the show!

I think the fact that the 17th performance sold so quickly after the announcement was made about her reprising the Narrator role shows that there will be lots of Linzi fans there. I think she will get a rapturous applause when she comes on stage but, bearing in mind that she performed this role 30 years ago, the average age of the audience will be a bit older than the Wicked/Heather's fangirls so I expect people will be far better behaved.

To all attending the 17/7 Matinee: At the understudy announcement (if there is one) On her first entrance, at the end of Pharoah Story and during the curtain calls, i WILL be full on, wicked fangirling, and i make no apology for it.
All other times, I vow to not clap or cheer until the note is finished.
And I'll be wearing the Joseph socks that arrived yesterday. More shows should do sock merch!

I think Roxie just meant cheer extra loudly for her at the end of all her numbers and at the top of the show! Thank you, that’s exactly what I meant. Just a cheer when she’s announced, when she walks on at the start (but stop when she starts singing please!) and at the end of her numbers! Trust me, I want to hear that gorgeous voice live I don’t intend to cheer over it! I just meant appropriately show support!

A lot of my fellow JD fans will be there on the 17th as when it was announced Linzi was doing a few select performances, many of the fans who were “regulars” at Joseph back in the early 90’s booked as she was always so incredible in the role, and the combination of Linzi and Jason back on stage together in Joseph was so much of a draw. I would have booked 17th even if JD wasn’t in it, just to be able to see Linzi in the role again. I am so looking forward to the 17th for reasons above, but also because so many of you will be there and I will hopefully get to say hi to a few of you, as well a many old friends who I’ve not seen since the last JD tour dates in 2019. The 17th July has become the new opening night for many of us 🙂
