Well. There are some good bits and some bad bits. It's all just a bit mild and half way through I was hoping that someone (anyone) would get bumped off just to liven up the show. Ramin and Kerry's characters are wildly unlikeable, you just really don't care about them and I'm sure I've heard the score before while watching old re-runs of 'Dawson's Creek'. At least some of the lyrics are so laughably bad that it raises a titter or two to break up the monotony.
Cast are great though, except for Kerry Ellis. She sounds very nice but she's just too prim for this character. She's a bit like an auntie at a family party after one too many glasses of sherry. It's all a bit embarrassing really.
Thank the Lord for Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, she's great and the right side of camp. Like a new Chita Rivera. Someone sign her up for 'Kiss Of The Spiderwoman' please.
And Ramin. Oh my. He is a fine piece of real estate and I wanna get me some land. If I didn't already know that the man-opause had already struck me, I'd have known it by tonight. The shirt comes off a couple of times I'm delighted to report and what a joyous sight it is. He sings like a dream too.
Also, a special thank you for the costume designer who put Ramin in that pair of grey trousers. Like two watermelons in a soft grey sack. *sigh* You'll be in my Christmas prayers.

I guess there's a limit as to what they can photograph because they don't want to give anything away as it's a very twisty turny story. Is the twist that there are really only three people and a shadow à la Identity Crisis?

Seeing the show tomorrow tonight for the first time after I won (yes me, won something finally!) the TheatreBoard competition to see the show on its Press Performance. No clue where I am sat but me and one of my best friends are going, we are so excited!

These pictures are so weird... Is there more to the set than a table and 3 chairs? I would have expected a bit more for the price they are charging... And Kerry looks so out of place. Her outfit and hairstyle are way too tame for the character of Sarah...

Firstly, I will comment on the show later but it wss frickin' amazing! So emotional, so intense, this cast are all superstars! The view was good enough for me, but I didn't pay so any view I would be grateful of. You basically don't see anything below the knee and you dom't see much of the one or two full on sex scenes but otherwise you're good to go! Also, A5, great seat for having Ramin crouch down right in front of you with his legs open... if you catch my drift!

I want to make sure whether or not this is something I should avoid seeing with my parents

Okii so the sex... I actuslly found it quite a sexy show and wasn't uncomfortable once. There is no nudity bar Ramin's shirt and Kerry spends half the show in a black see through bodice pretty much. Any sex is more implied than actually shown. Alot of over the clothes grinding, grabbing ass and boob etc. There is only one scene where a proper sexual act is shown when Kerry is giving Ramin a blowjob but it is not explicitly shown and from a distance it would look real but from the front Kerry is just pushing her face into Ramin's crotch over the jeans. I don't know if I would go with my parents as it is quite a sexual show, but I think it is personal preference!

I have specifically joined the forum (well, I was on the old one but just been viewing since it moved) to say I'm going to see this show with my mum this weekend!!
I'm too excited about this cast to try and do anything about it now. They could have warned us further in advance!
This could be the most awkward evening of my life 😳

Ahh so this was awful. I cannot believe such a good cast are in such a bad show. Direction is truly awful, lighting awful, sound awful, set design awful. If there was an award for the most pointless revolve in theatre history this show would surely win. Such a brutally unforgettable score, badly staged fight scenes.....Yes the cast are good but everything else is so poor that it makes it a bad night at the theatre. I would avoid but I absolutely would not pay anything near £50 to see it. Go see Ramin and Kerry in concert where there's a chance of their voices being allowed to sore. It's not "Exposure" bad but it's a damn close second.

Sorry to say but this is puerile tosh, of interest I suppose mostly to people for whom Fifty Shades of Grey is profound. The cast work hard (some more than others) but the whole thing is so pointlessly risible that you need Ramin's bare chest to generate at least some mild audience reaction. Poor Kerry kept getting entangled when it came time for her supposed disrobing. Embarrassing tripe masquerading as trendiness.

Just to add my opinion... Saw this on Tuesday night so the last preview? It's not something I would see again. The cast are all great but the storyline for me was weak and the songs not very memorable. Victoria was the stand out.. her voice is just amazing. I also agree that the staging is very bizarre 😶

Seeing this in a couple of weeks time having booked having regard to a stellar cast and the "taster" at West End Live. Given the wildly varying reviews should be interesting. I'm slightly surprised, as a newcomer to this forum at the somewhat prim attitudes to sex appearing in various posts. Surely adult members don't expect to see musicals about witches/phantoms/genies and the like only? Lighten up guys.

I think it's how it's done that is the main issue here, not that it's there.
