If we all agreed with each other this would be a very boring forum.

I can see the thinking behind programming Spamilton, but I wouldn't personally classify it as a coup (unlike something like Fun Home or Heathers). During the first year of Hamilton's run in London, it is almost certain to sell very well. It's a long-running hit in New York. Other theatres in London will certainly have been pursuing it too. Whether or not you agree, it is certainly a coup for the Menier to have landed it.

There are a "strictly limited" number of £19:50 tickets for this, at the sides. Be quick!

Now that’s a reasonable price. Hopefully the MCF are becoming more real with pricing structures

I got mine this morning too at the end of July for £19.50. Maybe after KOTSW selling so poorly they are trying to preempt the same thing happening as they had a lot of discounts towards the end of its run.

I got Row B sides for July 20 for £19.50. There seemed to be a fair selection of inexpensive seats.

Yet another example of how this board is so helpful. I have just managed to nab a couple of cheap tickets for a Sunday matinee in early September (to mark the start of the new school year) for my soon to be 17 yr old daughter and her friend. They loved seeing Hamilton back in January and this will be right up their street. As it is a 3.30pm performance I am guessing they will take themselves for a grown up meal afterwards. One of the great joys (amid the perils) of bringing up children in London is being able to furnish them with knowledge of the tube system and the ability to take advantage of the cultural delights the city offers.

Jek - sounds a perfect treat! If they are looking for a place to eat, they might want to check out Flat Iron Square which is just minutes away: www.flatironsquare.co.uk/ Not expensive, casual, a wide choice of stalls/restaurants. We love the Pad Thai there. And, of course, there's always the Menier itself (burgers, big desserts.)

Thanks foxa. I'll point them in that direction. Of course, it seems only ten minutes ago that I was taken them to primary age theatre nearby at the Unicorn! Time certainly does fly.

Thanks so much for the tip, got mine!
Surprised they haven't renamed them the £19.50 seats in association with TheatreBoard.

Think it is enjoyable to those who have seen and have yet to see Hamilton - some knowledge of the music/CD definitely would help. Some very funny appearances by other Broadway composers - and grandes dames of the stage.

If it hasn't changed much from when I saw it off-Broadway, it's more the latter. There's a "diva" character who does various old-school Forbidden Broadway impressions.

Must resist the urge to listen again

Sophie-Louise Dann... now I'm interested! And don't forget Damian Humbley. They were both in the last 2 productions of Forbidden Broadway and are brilliant.

They should advertise it as "If you can't get a ticket for HamIlton or can't afford £200 go see Spamilton and watch them taking the p**s out of it".
