I'm a bit surprised they have Killian/Bradley for the Saturday evening shows. Any guesses for the rest of the cast? I actually really love how they’ve split who’s doing what dates means if you’re only able to do a matinee and want Alfie and Michael you can. Feels Fair and doesn’t punish those who live further away (also Matt Lucas Ternardier if how they’ve cast so far is any indication)

Am sure they've asked Matt Lucas to reprise Thenardier, but would he want to do it?

The Montague- Fletchers as the Thenardiers?? I do believe Carrie has said she’d love to play Madame t some day but she’s too young for it surely?

As if Ball and Boe wasn't bad enough. CHF just isn't funny, but yes she does want the claim to fame of doing all 3 female leads.
Would be funny though, her going back to Les Mis yet again.

Judging by Alfie's previous attendance records, I expect Killian will be clocking up a few more appearances than those currently advertised!

I am not surprised that Alfie Boe and Michael Ball have been cast again in this - I do think this whole concert format was built around them, as an opportunity to do Les Mis together. And the arena tour was first mentioned before covid, after the original Gielgud run, and I assume always with them in mind. Why shouldn't regional audiences get to see them too, for fans who couldn't travel to London to see it?
Personally, I am glad that I have Killian Donnelly and Bradley Baden for my performance (having seen Boe and Ball in the Gielgud and Sondheim runs). Bradley is great, although Killian wouldn't have been my first choice as Valjean. I'm intrigued to see how they cast the rest of the show now.

I expect Matt Lucas's announcement any day now if I had to guess... Lucas was good in the 25th anniversary. His constant ad-libbing/asides in the filmed London concert version gets very old very fast... (in my humble opinion...)

Bradley is great, but I was hoping for a JOJ and Earl Carpenter combination... Certainly not B&B.
The Montagues as Mr and Mrs T... would be interesting(?!) casting...

CHF will be on her solo tour won’t she?
That’s not to say we won’t see it at some point in the future of course.

I wasn’t going to see this anyway, but my tuppence worth is I can see why they’ve cast them. It doesn’t make for a new experience for us fans, but it will confirm bums on seats. Not bothered either way about the “main casting”.
Surprised though that Donnelly and Jaden are doing it. Having seen most casts (and understudies) since around 1998 in British productions, plus dozens of international ones from Broadway and Europe, I’m very let down by that.
As I say, I had no plans to see it anyway. Really the show sells the tickets anyway.

Joel could maybe pull it off, but Carrie, bless her heart is not a natural comedienne. If you’ve heard her attempts at mockney cock-er-ney she sounds like the love child of Dick Van Dyke and Angela Lansbury.

I’d probably go as far as to say he’s the best Valjean I’ve seen since John Owen-Jones when he launched the (then) new 25th anniversary version. In a world where many of them are so similar (absolutely excellent, but similar) he really brought something different to the role. And what a voice!

I'll not get the chance to see the show in London before 9th of March, and a trip to Sweden next January wasn't in my plans, so I'll probably not get to see him. But I'm glad to hear how good he is in the role.

Hey all
Are there any more whispers about cast for this other than B&B/Killian & Bradley?
