Luke Evans would be a good fit.

It doesn’t need a star name, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt to help launch it.

Surely Biggins must be in the running.

It doesn’t need a star name, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt to help launch it. It doesn't I agree, but if it's got a good name attached to it it'll hit the public consciousness a bit more (and easier to get on TV interviews - like you could see Evans on Graham Norton)

Oh god Luke Evans or Jason Manford, not sure which is worse lol
I thought they were going the 'show is the star' route but who knows now.

Luke Evans would be a good fit. Oh I do hope not. I just can’t stand watching him, whether onTV or stage

Oh I didn't realise people didn't like Luke Evans 😂 I've always enjoyed him in things I've seen him in (and he was great fun in Backstairs Billy so can do stage!)

Haha everyone has their different tastes.
I find him a bit like Manford, he can sing but a bit limited/same in everything on the acting front and kinda annoying as a personality

Jason Manford couldn't do it anyway as he's touring his new stand up show from late 2024.

Starting to realise we are lacking in leading men with any name recognition 😆

We don’t even have any new cross over ‘easy listening’ stars either though do we? Would Gary Barlow or Robbie Williams be interested? It needs a Groban type, of which we have none.

I'm struggling to think of who the new Ramins, Hadley, JOJs are either
I guess Jamie Muscato is one

Charlie Stemp is the only charismatic "triple treat" performer I can think of. There haven't really been many shows recently that called for a classic leading man.
Robbie Williams might actually be an inspired choice, he has charisma galore.

What about Killian? Could he manage this? I think Jamie Muscato is probably one of our better all rounders atm. Stemp is good but I think he’s rather “old skool” in the shows I’ve seen him in.

John Owen Jones has been singing the songs at concerts and seems quite keen to do the show.
For Jenny Lind, I'd actually like to see an opera singer in the role. And for her song to be sung in more of an opera style.

Danielle De Niese seems the obvious fit for Jenny Lind no?

I’ve heard who is attached to this. Tickets will sell if this UK gentleman is really signed up … he definitely can sing 🎶 & act 🎭 🏆 Tom Holland? I'd hope not. Not cos of talent but the tickets will be eye watering if he's attached to it
