More of an entertainment than a play really, a collection of folk tales from Yamanashi in Japan punctuated with music and singing from the talented Yui Shikakura who plays a mean shamisen too.
Shinako Wakatsuki, in particular, who has translated the tales performed, has a great comic touch. An evening for lovers of Japanese culture, I'd say.
