I read that they opened the "doors" earlier this morning due to the size of the queue.

Finally finished the first day’s performances. Not sure this is the best advert for the West End as it’s a real mixed bag quality-wise, especially as the sound seems a bit iffy at times.
Not a fan of Wicked, but thought Lucie Jones was great, especially as that song has been done to death. I loved South Pacific in Chichester but it left me a bit cold here. I liked the Only Fools and Horses clip, surprisingly as that’s a TV show I’ve never found particularly funny. La Voix had too much setup but really made me laugh when “turn around” finally got going. Got around to seeing several of the long-runners in the past year so nice to see them again with the same casts as I saw. Was interested in Bugsy Malone, though might have to watch the film first before deciding whether to see it. Omigod You Guys has popped into my head several times today, so I want to see Legally Blonde, just not this particular one. It’s probably better in context (as let’s face it, they all are) but Lady M was a bit dreary. Magic Mike was just weird and awkward.
So, this big event promoting London theatre has only left me wanting to see two shows: Identical and Unfortunate.
And ironically I can see them both in Manchester.

Good grief is La Voix still doing that "turn around" act? She did it every time I saw her in the clubs of Manchester ten years ago!
