Okay lovely Theatreboard people - what is the secret code/phone number/handshake to speak to a human at ATG? After listening to some pre-recorded wittering about `Covid, I got put on hold for 15 minutes and then gave up. I need to speak to somebody to switch some tickets around for me - has anybody had any joy doing this in the past? My ATG membership expires in July and I don't think I will be renewing considering the glitches in their website (adding on booking fees despite being logged in, asking me to log in when I'm already logged in). Does anybody else suffer the same issues or am I just unlucky?

All good. Search function here is a little cursed. Number should be top post on the link.

Be patient !!
When our Moulin rouge tickets got cancelled and we needed to rebook we were on the phone an hour plus before we got to the front of the queue. They do get insanely busy and if must be a smallish team.
I'd recommend putting the phone down on the side on speakerphone while you do something else.

Use their callback function - they have never failed to call me back and swiftly sort whatever I needed to exchange or get credit for.

I mean it is a bit poor that they won’t change the name on the tickets but he seems to have conveniently left out that he would be allowed to exchange to another performance of the same production (for free even with a theatrecard)!

I doubt he was told he can’t give the ticket to someone, more like he was told he can’t sell it.

I doubt he was told he can’t give the ticket to someone, more like he was told he can’t sell it. For this show he was told he couldn't transfer the ticket.

I doubt he was told he can’t give the ticket to someone, more like he was told he can’t sell it. Of course you can give the tix to someone else. From what I read on Twitter those tickets were for Gary Barlow’s show, for which they’re saying the lead booker must attend.

He's saying now they want him to delete his tweets.

ATG exercising Cabaret style levels of control over people again. Ridiculous.

I’m sure plenty of people will already have taken screenshots of the tweets and will repost them if deleted. Requests of that type usually lead to much more bad publicity.

Well ATG will always suck as long as they are owned by private equity. I always think twice when I book one of their venues. Gotta make those interest payments!
