I went to my first Promenade Concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
I went to Chichester for the first time. In another first, I was shouted at by a well-spoken woman for not knowing where she was sitting.
I hired a Boris bike. Thinking about my cycling ineptitude still makes me smile. Three times I circled the Waterloo roundabout!
I went to the Barbican...and didn't get lost once. Unfortunately, the closest I got to seeing Anything Goes was an aerial view of Robert Lindsay lovely head of hair.
I watched the original West Side Story film. Was "SHARKS STINK" really considered insulting in 1961?

Having read your firsts, it struck me I didn't leave London in 2021. Goodness! It's a first, at least in the sense it's the first time since I moved here 35 years ago.
Little childen called me a hero, and a few adults stopped in the street to say thank you.
I didn't go to a single sporting event.

I've been thinking of this and the only thing I can come up with is 'cooked and ate chard'. Does that count? I did so very little last year it seems and the things I did were mostly things I did already but just more of.

I hope it won't.

I visited some new places for the first time, all work trips - Islamabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Greenville SC, Athens, and not forgetting Edinburgh. Especially in India and Pakistan had some of the most incredible food I've ever eaten.
I saw my first Las Vegas show! Rupaul's Drag Race Live.
I took the San Francisco cable car!

I went to Ibiza for the first time, unfortunately all the clubs and a lot of the restaurants and bars were closed but it was a start (I am kind of expecting it to be cancelled but I have since booked for Duran Durans residency in Ibiza in April, with a night at Pikes to start things off).
I’ve been to Manchester before, but went to see a concert there for the first time: The Jesus and Mary Chain at the Albert Hall.
The last few weeks have seen a slew of cancellations but I’m more optimistic about things than I was this time last year, I’m kind of resigned to having boosters every six months for the foreseeable future but I haven’t had a bad reaction to anything I’ve had yet so here’s to the future.
