Just home from seeing this tonight. For such a small version of the show, it was actually really good.
There wasn't a weak link in the cast but Alison Harding as the witch and Wendy Ferguson as Jack's mother were the standout performances. Although it was weird watching Wendy using her home accent.
Peter Hanna had some really good moments as the wolf and Cinderellas Prince. And whoever decided about putting the prince's in kilts knew what they were doing 😄
Also my first time at the Lyric Theatre in Belfast which I feel is a bit of a crime considering how often I go to the Opera House. Quite a small theatre, doesn't seem like there's a bad seat in the place.

I blame alece10. "Don't get it at a Sondheim show."

I think the giveaway there is "corporate". They would have been plied with drink and food before which is really all they came for. I've worked at shows with "corporate" clients before and they can be quite bad. Usually they have no idea or interest in what they are going to see and only there for the free drink. I've even see people come for the pre show drinks and food and then leave 2 mins before the show.

Could there be a more inappropriate show to take a Corporate “do” to? Isn’t Fat Friends going to Belfast? 9 to 5 maybe?
Having said that, abd to no way excuse the behaviour, this quote “ It’s understood that front of house staff also reported that they were being abused as they tried to appeal to some audience members to be quiet and to stop drinking in the auditorium” demands a very obvious question…
