Something else is lined up for the Shaftesbury. A Broadway transfer Yeah, people here seem to forget that Jamie Wilson is also involved into The Notebook on Broadway.

Stereophonic is too small for the Shaftesbury. Jamie Wilson was a producer on The Notebook but that didn't do well at all. I'm hoping it's Hell's Kitchen since that's doing solid business.

It is probably The Notebook. It not doing well on Broadway is no indication of what will do well on The West End. I feel The Notebook would sell very well in London.

I've got no interest in the Notebook, I would like to see Shucked.

I think the West End tends to like a good tearjerker - I think The Notebook would do very well!
I personally love the score

I would much prefer The Notebook in a smaller more intimate theatre. Shaftesbury always feels it needs a big show which The Notebook is not.

Again, in the ideal world, I can always imagine the front of the theatre decked out with Beetlejuice or Some Like It Hot or Shucked as discussed, but those transfers are so on-off. Notebook is the safe guess.
Hopefully we hear more about this. Still a while until April 2025. We're all pawns in Jamie Wilson's game

April seems like a long time for ‘Burlesque’ ATG house or no ATG house?

April seems like a long time for ‘Burlesque’ ATG house or no ATG house? I mean "Prior to West End" with these tours recently have always seemed like there's no real plan. How many of these shows have actual bookings and aren't just winging it?!

I’m sure it is hoping to, and self confidence is great, but it isn’t the highest profile existing IP looking for a home is it? If they are hoping to create demand I’d have hoped to see Foley all over everything everywhere to create some interest before it announces. Folks’ll be hoping to be picking over the bones of BTTF some time soon and I reckon ‘Nanny McPhee’ is the far surer thing.

'Stageberry' (whatever that is) is reporting it's Just for One Day

I've got no interest in the Notebook, I would like to see Shucked. Yes, where has that gone? That was to have gone to a Delfont Mackintosh house.
