I remember seeing her in The Curious Incident with my kids when it was on at the Cottesloe and thinking how every generation had 'their' Una Stubbs - those who remembered Summer Holiday, then Till Death Us Do Part, then Worzel Gummidge, Give Us A Clue and, of course, finally, Sherlock. She was just always there.

I remember seeing her in the Menier production of La Cage Aux Folles at the Playhouse.

I had the enormous, but brief, joy of directing as a voice over to an animated character in the 80's. Much giggling, and charm, I remember. A truly gorgeous lady, and how lovely to go and everyone has nothing but lovely things to say about you.
