I LOVED this in Edinburgh and want to go again. Is the stage still ridiculously high at the Ambassadors? I see the front row is £20...

Saw this on Saturday, absolutely loved it! It works so well within the short run time. Nothing drags (ahem) and you can tell it has been put together with great care and attention to how the audience will receive it, not just how the writer wants it to be shown. Extremely emotional, I can't imagine keeping dry eyes at this one, if you do, you are far more stable than me. A perfect slice of camp theatre, this is one I would undoubtedly go to again.

How much is a programme? Do they offer posters or other merchandise? I've booked for closing night, but not sure I will go now that it coincides with the strike.

The programme was either £5 or £6 can't quite remember. I think they also had the CD and possibly the script but I didn't see anything else.

Really want to see this what are the chances of getting rush tickets on a Saturday or day seats at the box office ? 👍 I got 2 rush tickets for the matinee last Saturday, I had to persist on the app though, I kept refreshing and eventually got 2 tickets in row d of the circle. So glad I did, really enjoyed.

For those of you who’ve seen MSAQ at the Ambassador - would you recommend stalls row C or circle row A? (Same price, just unsure which’ll be better view given a high stage). Thank you!

Saw the show tonight circle was full bought tickets part of theatre week row F £25 noticed earlier seats still empty today on row C had been reduced to £25 also ? Thought I was in the wrong seats when I arrived as seat plan reviews said it was a walkway and had extra leg room they must have put in extra seats ? As leg room was so tight excellent view though Had a 7-8 min stop half way through tech difficulty but Rob picked it back to and soon had audience back in the palm of his hands wonderful 65 minutes loved every moment a truly special show 5/5 ⭐️ from me

Is this a play? The trailer is all about singing and seems to imply it's a musical.

This is rather special, isn't it? The right performer, with the right show, at the right time. It's sweet, it's funny, it's cleverly constructed, has some catchy little tunes, and it has something really important and heartfelt to say.
Just a wonderfully done slice of theatre, and kudos to Rob (and the team around them) for making such a success of it.

Well, i am supposed to be sitting in the Jermyn St theatre right now watching Farm Hall about WW2 espionage and nuclear secrets, unfortunately whilst walking up to the theatre at 6.50pm I got a email saying that due to unforeseen circumstances the performance was cancelled. So with a quick dash on a wet and windy Saturday night across to the Ambassador’s theatre, I got a ticket in the Dress Circle for MSAQ with 15 minutes to spare. It was my first time seeing this show so I had absolutely no idea what to expect but what an absolutely brilliant show Rob has put together. A great mix of laughs and tears in equal measure over the 80 minutes. The Disney show at the end was fab.
It really is a beautifully crafted show with great storytelling (and home video clips) and songs (courtesy of Pippa Cleary) performed by Rob. It sped along really nicely and had wished it was longer it was that good. Based on my viewing it thoroughly deserves it Olivier nomination and quite honestly deserves to win. After watching “Medea” this afternoon, MSAQ has rounded off a great double show day.
Rating - 5⭐️

I'd quite like to see this and emailed ATG to ask if they do any last-minute Box Office ticket reductions...but that's a No. Which is really silly because there's still quite a lot of seats available! (There are two rows that are completely unbooked, for example). It's so silly, wouldn't they rather get some money for a £59.50 seat instead of leaving it unsold?
Anyway, maybe I could catch this with a Rush ticket before it closes...I don't have the budget right now to be spending more than £30 on a 1 hour and 15 minute show.
