Hello all!
Being from Ireland, I am oblivious to the gay scene in London. I am looking to travel post lockdown with my boyfriend, and after a show, we were hoping to hit up a gay bar and/or nightclub.
Could anyone give any recommendations? We are both in our early twenties, but are happy to go for a club/bar mix with good music and a relaxed enough vibe. And please, feel free to recommend multiple venues.
Thanks a million for any tips you can give!

Hiya,
It's depends what your thing is but let us take you by the hand and lead you through the streets of London...
I think Heaven is a safe bet, perhaps the house wife's choice?
in my roaring 30's I was prancing around clubs in Vauxhall. I'm not sure what that scene was like pre pandemic though heaven knows post. The RVT on a Sunday afternoon / evening is great with a drag queen and then a bit of bop.
I live in Hackney and my local bar is called The Glory and it is great. Very mixed crowd with Russell Tovey often popping in. I think you could call it alternative, lots of performance art, bearded drag queens and themed nights around line dancing and once a Buttmitzva* complete with Klezma band, controlling mothers and fish balls
*one of the best nights of my entire life.

In fact Russell Tovey posted a pic of him standing outside said pub yesterday saying he couldn't wait to be inside it again.
