There's a great new documentary on Dursley McLinden, who was one of the inspirations for the programme. It covers his life from growing up on the Isle of Man to his sadly early death aged 30.
He was an actor, mainly in musical theatre, including Follies and Phantom who appeared in the Doctor Who serial Remembrance of the Daleks. There's a lovely photo of him with Sally Ann Triplett, Jenna Russell and Anthony Barclay behind the scenes on Follies.
