Good to have a new musical but disappointing at this stage that it is only as a live stream.

Booked this because of the actors, not normally a fan of SP, but glad to see they do it the right way: stream it live on the three days, but selling an unlimited number of tickets in advance at a fixed price, without the need to queue at a certain time. Happy to support.

I have a ticket for Saturday (sorry to miss Romantics Anonymous) - but the Wikipedia entry for Stuart Matthew Price suggests this is not a new musical, but one that has been around since 2014. Is this just an updated version - or completely new version? Wikipedia says there's even a cast recording.

I watched this tonight and thought it was beautiful. Excellent streaming service as well, high definition all the way (absolutely no comparison to the bad quality I got from the Old Vic zooms...).
I had not heard of this before but I checked and there really is a cast recording from 2016. It’s on iTunes. Hadley is on it as well but the female part is sung by Caroline Sheen. I have to admit I liked Rosalies voice a lot better.
Since I haven’t seen the original version I cannot compare but this one now is not staged. It’s a reading with songs. They did it very cleverly so that you could easily follow the time jumps though.
I would love to watch it again tomorrow but unfortunately I’ve got no time as I’ve got visitors. I really enjoyed this tonight!

I enjoyed it. The score and book reminded me Jason Robert Brown especially Last 5 Years.
This has potential to be a very satisfying night of theatre.

Not happy with the booking process for this - no time/date on the confirmation email anywhere, and no link to the actual stream page. After much panicking yesterday I managed to figure out the right page and the login, but somehow missed that it was a 7pm start and not 7:30 pm. So I’ve just logged in thinking I was early for my stream to find I’ve missed 20 minutes.
I know I’m stupid but it really helps if they put the sodding information in the actual confirmation email!
