As news of the victims slowly emerges, I am struck that there could be an element of homophobia to the attacks. www.gaystarnews.com/article/reading-terror-attack-victims-were-lgbt-men-and-their-friends/If this does prove to be the case, it is a very unpleasant escalation to this sort of incident. It may, of course, be coincidence. My thoughts go out to the families and friends of the victims and to all those who witnessed what happened on Saturday night

The final victim has been made - and it would seem that all three were friends.
Such a sad series of events for so many people.
The community of the Blagrave Arms in Reading must be in deep shock right now.

Someone I know on twitter was a friend of one of the victims, she was contacted by someone yesterday claiming to be interested in a topic she blogs about, who turned out to be a Daily Mail journalist wanting to pump her for information about him.

Sadly too many journalists resort to that sort of technique. Many just use info found on Facebook as the basis for stories and never seek permission to use material.
