Apparently dance heavy musical revival (tap)
Not been seen in 20 years...
I'm stumped though lol
Also has a word beginning with T in the title. Potentially second word.
Any thoughts? X

I'd like it to be The Tap Dance Kid, but it was only done in 1983 and only on Broadway.

Hot Shoe Shuffle - I enjoyed it. Never caught it live, the Beeb filmed it and it was rather jolly.
On Your Toes. Loved it. Was brilliant at the Royal Festival Hall and I think a sell out and critical success. I could see this working well as a Crimbo show in Sheffield or Leeds and then transferring in.

It could be what's going into the Savoy after Sunday in The Park.... It fits what's been rumoured

This last had a major production in 1983? So it doesn't seem to fit that one. Are there others going around?

I could be completely wrong to be fair - I didn't realise AW was involved int he project I'm talking about (which isn't confirmed so I wouldn't say a word until it is). Edit: Definitely thinking it's On Your Toes

I'm gonna doubt they will be placing a hardly known musical thats not had a production for over 20 years straight into The Savoy. If they do....why.

Is there a single well known song in On Your Toes? Yes. Pharrell Williams actually wrote ‘Happy’ for ‘On Your Toes’ as a (minus years?) child but it was left on the scrap heap. Now, with hindsight, the creatives think it’s worth mounting a major production in the West End of London in one of it’s premier houses so that excited theatregoers can see it realised in all it’s glory. I can’t tell you who they have lined up to star, but lets just say they just died of cervical cancer on Corrie and were on ‘This Morning’ this morning (and have vowels in their name). Anyway hush I’ve said too much. #makingthingsupagaindaniel 😬 (Is it just possible that a revival of ‘On Your Toes’ is being mounted somewhere else AND something else is taking the Savoy?)

Based on Pharrell Williams ‘Happy’....or not? Otherwise Denise isn't bringing Ken's mother all the way from the north west.

On your toes...Chichester.
I have a feeling it is the second big musical like the year they did two big shows in one summer..was it gypsy and guys and dolls?
If not he west end I’m Sure this maybe it.
Chichester does love a song and DANCE musical and South Pacific as amAzing as it is Isn’t that entirely. (One of RandH operatic works).
Probably why a little night music isn’t doing summer season.
What you think
Veesable?... Also note CR...abbreviation ChicesteR
This Is the type of show Chichester audience loves! Old School, MGM classic.

I’d love an On Your Toes revival. Irek Mukhamedov was wickedly funny in the festival hall production and I have great memories of that back in 2003 (I think?)
