Leo & Hyde's Guy: A New Musical starts its UK tour on 3 February, ending with a run at the Turbine Theatre from 4-7 March. I believe there have been quite a few changes since the original 2018 production, including some new songs. The new cast isn't listed on there website, but they've announced some casting via twitter: - Guy - Ben Raymond
- Aziz - to be announced
- Joe/Dom - Steve Banks (who played Tyler in the 2018 production)
- Tyler - Elliott Wooster
My nephew is playing Tyler, so I'm hoping it isn't too raunchy or I shall be very embarrassed!

I saw the previous production at the Kings Head in 2018, and didn't like it very much. I liked the premise and the cast put their heart into it, but structurally there were plot problems and some of the songs weren't great. Having said that, I wish them well, and hope that they've taken the previous feedback to make things better. Haven't decided yet whether to give it another try in its revised version, as the Turbine isn't easy for me to get to, but I wish them all the best. Oh, and the previous production wasn't too raunchy, so you shouldn't have to look away too often!

I reviewed this at The Kings Head and have to agree, I thought it was dire! I hate to put anything down but it needed a lot of work (although maybe they have already made improvements).

Oh dear, that's a shame! I never saw the original run, but I believe they have made quite a few revisions since then. They've just tweeted the final cast announcement, so the full list is: - Guy - Ben Raymond
- Aziz - Aarian Mehrabani
- Joe/Dom - Steve Banks
- Tyler - Elliott Wooster
I'm going during their final week at the Turbine Theatre, it would be interesting to hear what people think if they're going to any of the earlier dates.

Saw this at The Old Rep,Brum with my daughter tonight and we both loved it. Two hours plus a fifteen minute interval. The four man cast threw everything they had at it and received rapturous applause at the end.We were told that we were allowed to film the finale obvs to publicise the show. Great vocals,a heart-warming plot with a timely message and a simple but clever set.I was particularly impressed with the varied characterisation on show and must say that the book worked for me. Really want a CD of this as there are at least five or six bangers in it. Free fold-out programme for everyone which was a nice touch. Highly-recommended.

Now sounds v promising, xanady, but what a short run at the Turbine compared to their usual production length. Only one performance I could make so dithering now.

The team are saying they’ll record and release a cast EP if they reach 100 retweets by Monday... they’re on 91 at the minute so maybe you can help make this happen!

The song 'Click' has been released for streaming on various platforms, along with a filmed performance on Spotify. Further tracks to be released in the future, with 'Just Being Realistic' coming next on 5 June. ditto.fm/click-leohyde-featuring-ben-raymond
