I’m looking to book for the wed 6th may matinee for the Galileo play when public booking opens next week. Could anyone please advise me on what the current availability is for this performance. Thanks in advance. Central area of the stalls is well sold going back about 5 rows...

Looks as though Crave will be a sell out before it goes on sale to public....already sold out half its run in just a few hours

Booking (or trying to) was even worse than my worst ever experience with the NT (the cumululative effect of which was a major cause of my ceasing to be a member), with multiple IT issues. Did get all I (and OH) wanted in the end but due to one of the many IT issues, I was unable to access tix for PN of The Unfriend on the same day as our chosen matinee of South Pacific. This would have saved me a separate trip and PN was the only evening performance early enough for me to be reasonably sure of getting a train home afterwards, given the lack of running times at this stage. That was the only combination I could double up on, too, so now I'm committed to 4 day trips to see a single play each time (The Real Thing, South Pacific, The Unfriend and The Narcissist).
Not a great use of time and money though I'm hoping nearer the time to find exhibitions to see at Pallant House Gallery for some of my dates and maybe an early film before the matinee or an evening play in Brighton afterwards. Pointless complaining as it must have been hell for the CFT staff and if seats sold out to some while others were unable even to view them, there's nothing to be done.

^Didn’t know the Cornley Poly lot has branched out into ticket-booking technology. Sounds like a nightmare and so frustrating.Sorry to hear your story.

Booked for SP and Assassins no problem. Not surprisingly the Unfriend and Real Thing in the Minerva seem to be selling fast.

Public booking now open. Joined the queue at exactly 9 am and was on the booking page for South Pacific by 9.10. The side seats at the front are only £10 again and got two for a matinee on my first choice date.
From previous posts here I wasn't expecting it to be that quick and easy.

Managed to get in very quickly at 9 and got everything I wanted (South Pacific, The Unfriend and Assassins), checked out within 5 minutes. A painless process for once (I never seem to have much luck with booking queues!)

Would've loved a front row seat but second row isn't far off. Do returns usually occur later on (a la NT) and are exchanges usually possible too? Extremely excited to see South Pacific, hoping for a big orchestra and dreaming of Rob Houchen singing Younger than Springtime. My first visit to Chichester ever too.

No front row tickets left for my first-choice date for South Pacific but I managed to get the last remaining front row seat for my second-choice date. I think the availability of £10 tickets around the sides at the front helps fuel the initial rush. Certainly for musicals they are an absolute steal as the show is played to all sides. They sell quickly. I've also booked to see the Assassins musical plus The Prime Of Miss Jean Brodie . Don't often go for plays but I like the film and the advance train tickets from and back to London are silly cheap. Three shows for £30.

That's for a production in France. I tweeted her to ask her where, hoping it'd be somewhere in the UK I could get to, but it isn't. Yea I did a bit of digging. I’m on my way to the evening performance via Portsmouth for a bit of Christmas shopping, just in case! I’m not sure if I’m happier or sadder knowing that it is my last show before lockdown this time around

After what’s been a horrible weekend, watching the live stream of the CFT’s Sondheim concert really cheered me up. Some really wonderful performances tonight. Clive Rowe and Hannah Waddingham were the standouts for me.
