Before writing Fawlty Towers Cleese and Connie Booth studied the Feydeau farces in detail to see how they were put together.
This production has potential but it will need a good director who understands farce, it is tough to do.

Hm. Well hopefully they've had time to iron out some of the problems. Also Tony Gardner is a marvellous comic actor so it'll be a treat to see him onstage

Oh crikey, this was awful when I saw it in Colchester. Not helped by Oliver Cotton hardly knowing his lines. Maybe it will be better rehearsed this time but I couldn't recommend it.
