Has anyone here ever been to the Opera National De Paris? I have always wanted to go, and hoping this year to finally do it. In preparation for Public Booking opening on Tuesday, I have a few questions:
- Where are the best places to sit in the Bastille? Money is not an issue for this.
- How are tickets booked? If I book them online, will they post out tickets with it being an international address?
- Do productions particularly new ones have a tendency to sell out?
Sorry for all the questions.

Years ago my partner treated me to Peter Grimes at the Bastille.
Tickets booked online.
It was a revial of Peter Grimes. It wasn't sold out. We sat half way back in the vast stalls and the view was great.
I hope you enjoy

Thank you. Very helpful.
I am wanting to see the new production of MANON. Hopefully their new productions will not sell out either.

All booked! I have to say I am very excited!
Just one last question - has anyone been on any of the Guided Tours whilst there? I am interested in both the Opera Bastille tour, and the Palais Garnier tour. I am sure I read somewhere that the Garnier tour can be done in English, but the Bastille tour is just in French, however I can no longer find this information on the website. Does anyone know?
