Hi everyone !

I need to write a musical theatre song for a project of mine - are there any topics/theme ideas I should write a song on?

I’m having a bit of a creative block at the moment and would really appreciate some ideas!

Pick a moment from one of your favourite books/movies and turn that moment into a musical number.

The problem with many “musical theatre songs” is they are generic. Make it character driven, what do they want, how are they going to get it, and how does it make them feel.
