Surprised about Tim Pigott-Smith, Olivier Chris and Richard Goulding not being nominated for King Charles III, Laurie Metcalf not being nominated for Lazaurs and Cristin Milioti not being nominated for Lazaurs. Laurie may have been left out because Misery got awful reviews and people said Cristin was underused, but I am baffled at the lack of the acting nominations for King Charles III. Also, they said new aspects of Hamilton would be included, so sad Groff wasn't nominated, but I am a bit biased when talking about Hamilton!
Happy that Alex Brightman, Michael Esper and Sophia-Ann Caruso were nominated!

It's a real shame the best part of Dames at Sea (Lesli Margherita) got shut out and seems to be predicted to be shut out of everything this year. Everyone guessed she would be a shoo in for a nom until the show closed, a real shame.

I hated Lazarus. Sophia Anne Caruso is the only part of the show that deserves recognition.

Forgot to mention Anne Hathaway in Grounded, astonished she wasn't nominated, I genuinely think that the show was so long ago that they can't even remember it.
EDIT: Cardinal Pirelli has just informed me she was nominated for 'Best Solo Performance'.

Ahhhh I am glad they have spread the wealth for all of the shows pretty much... am thrilled for Cynthia of course and wouldn't be surprised to see her walking toward the stage at the Tony's and deservedly so! Also to see Danny win Lead Actor I am happy about, and honestly it wouldn't surprise me if he was to join Cynthia up there. Is it just me who also wouldn't be surprised if Michael Arden (who won here for his direction of Spring Awakening) caused an upset for Hamilton and took Director at the Tonys?  |
