Ooh that's a hard one, as she needs to be a triple threat. Someone like Carly Mercedes Dyer or Ariana DeBose. To be honest I could name loads that would be great, it all depends on the production and the budget. they both sound too young to me. I guess because I saw it played by an established star approaching her 60s, I see the role as needing that experience and presence. It is tricky to identify someone who matches that. Bebe Neuwirth might work. I think Aurora/Spiderwoman is ageless though as she exists as the movie star in Molina's mind, and Vanessa Williams was only in here early 30's when she played it. Also, didn't Neuworth take over from Chita in London back in the 90's?

Nicole Scherzinger should play Aurora in Spiderwoman. It is a no brainer....

When was there last a big revival of Calamity Jane? Probably the tour with Jodie Prenger and Tom Lister. Quite shocked to see that was way back in 2014 though.

Parade would die a very quick death at the Coliseum. It needs a playhouse.

I love me a classic. A full Showboat would be a joy. I remember the Opera North tour 30 years ago with huge fondness and the score is a joy. A big production of Kiss Me, Kate would be very welcome. Great score, once again and plenty of cracking dialogue. A more modern choice for me would still be Kiss of the Spiderwoman. Brilliant and heartbreaking show. Did you not see Show Boat in London in 2016? It was outstanding, rave reviews, but closed early, people just didn't come. Broke my heart as I doubt anyone will risk it again, not at scale anyway.

Nine is definitely overdue a showing. I'd also like Titanic done properly with large chorus and orchestra.

Nine is definitely overdue a showing. I'd also like Titanic done properly with large chorus and orchestra. I'd pay to see anything Tommy Tune originally directed - as long as it's his version. His choreography is so inventive, and his collaborators for the production design have always been first rate. Seeing his Will Rogers Follies many years ago felt as close as I was ever going to get to seeing a real Ziegfeld Follies and his revival of Bye Bye Birdie was fun. I wonder what future Fosse revivals will look like now that Anne Reinking has passed...
