Friend of mine is looking for a cabaret venue in Central London. She’s a Scottish performer with an established but select following, was a known name in Scotland for acting/singing/comedy/performance but now semi-retired, looking to do some shows around the country, mix of songs and poetry. For those gigs, she doesn't have a musician, so it's the ability to play tracks and sing live to those.
Venue of capacity 50-100 is probably about right, Crazy Coqs could be good but she’s struggling to get in there as she has a TV/theatrical agent but not a music agent so they’re a bit hesitant about her ability to draw a crowd.
Anyway, all a long way round to asking for ideas for cabaret spaces in London that might be a fit for her - this is for (initially at least) a one-off show, it’s not about building a “name”, she’ll bring a lot of her own audience, so it’s not necessarily a great fit for a venue that puts a lot of focus on “programming”. A venue that allows free hire in return for bar spend would be good, so even a civilised venue within a pub or bar could be suitable.
Ideas welcome…

Free hire isn't essential - I'm a complete ignoramus in how such things work, but the gigs she has already arranged in established venues in Edinburgh and Cardiff are on those terms, so I thought similar arrangements might be available in London. I'm more looking for pointers on suitably sized venues that she could approach separately to discuss terms.

The Studio at The Other Palace or Above The Arts are quite compact (not sure of capacity at the latter).
