Anyone watching?
I think it’s brilliant. I’m glad it’s on every night this week so I don’t have to wait too long for the following episode.

I have watched the first two but I’m out. Bearing in mind how heavily this has been trailed, you’d have thought they had something ‘Broadchurch’ standard to shout about! But this is so derivative, stealing from any number of nineties home invasion & cuckoo in the nest thrillers. Kat Kelly who I normally love in things, is sleepwalking through this, doing her posh character...and the other girls eye bulging psycho act is even more tiresome. I correctly told the wife all of the things that would happen in the first 2 episodes, and have predicted a big gasp double switcheroo twist in the last episode but won’t be there to watch. So disappointing when something has promise but blows it.

I will watch to the end but something is going to have to happen tonight to truly regain my interest. I thought the initial set up was great, not knowing who was in prison and who was visiting, but what has happened since is very formulaic. I thought the atmosphere of ambiguity was going to go all the way through, and although there will no doubt be lots of twists to come, it currently feels like we already know too much.

Shame. Jack and Harry Andrews are normally better than this. First episode was great, but too many silly things happening/plot/continuity holes in episode 2 have left me a bit annoyed by it all. I can't count the times I was shouting "But s/he'd NEVER do that...!" I do like the portrayal of the psycho student but the husband and, more especially the wife, leave me cold and I couldn't care less about them. The wonderful Harry from Spooks/Double Deckers is bound to be playing a baddie and I loved Adrian Edmondson's cameo as the rich bitch's daddy.
I'm going to see this out as there are only 2 more. But it hasn't lived up to potential for me.

Yes, I’m expecting Harry from Spooks to be pivotal; you don’t cast Peter Firth as a minor character. It’s not as good as I expected but I need to know what happened and why now (the why being the interesting part). But I do think that leaving doors, lockers and curtains open or unlocked is one of Leah’s biggest problems...

Jack and Harry Andrews are normally better than this Well that explains it. They produced. They didn't write this twaddle. Wonder how they're going to fill a whole hour tomorrow. Obviously some other twist. My bet is the cat, who isn't really dead - that was very obviously a Primark scarf - came back and scratched him to death.

Makes you wish there was more than one actor on the slab, as they're all dead behind the eyes. How did that dreadful script ever get beyond some intern's inbox? I presume Kate Kelly had a big tax bill to settle, she's usually more discerning.

Yes, after a very promising start this has gradually gone downhill - from the writing to the performances. The excellent cast seem to be just going through the motions for the pay cheque!
I think the big issue is that you don't really care about the central characters. The husband is awful. Who cares who done him in?

SPOILER ALERT - my wife summarised last nights episode for me and I’m watching tonights now. I’m happy to admit that I thought Rose was gonna be her daughter not her half sister. Like someone further up said, you don’t book Harry from Spooks if your not gonna use him better. But the main downer is making everyone so unlikeable and making it difficult to care.

What appalling writing. So embarrassed for all involved.

The ending was even worse than the rest of it, which was nearly impossible to achieve. Hang your heads in shame all concerned.

This just continued downhill to the ludicrous finale! A shame after a promising start.
The fatal flaw was that all the characters were unlikeable without any redeeming features.

I really enjoyed it but felt let down by the ending.
I wasn’t expecting it to be so predictable.

I agree with @trekkiemonster and wickedgrin. Disappointing, especially the ending, nothing clever or intriguing about the entire story, not a single character to care about, and do academic couples really talk to each other like that? Like they’re reading from a text book ? Those long winter nights must just fly by....... come to think of it, much of the dialogue was incredibly unnatural .

I watched the whole series but I do agree with much of the above. Unnatural dialogue, unlikeable characters and the story as a whole nothing special. Also as a current university student it really bothered me that apparently nobody involved with this show has heard of TurnItIn.

Promised a lot and delivered very little.I felt that too many obvious clues were given away too soon.Glad it didn’t get dragged out for weekly episodes.

Confirmed as a one off...never any intention to write more...were always going to show it over four consecutive nights...yeah right. Realised it was a load of old tosh and people wouldn’t wait a week for it.
