Wondering why the term...Theatremaker is now applied so much.
What do we mean by this...over actor,director,designer,composer etc.
Just a wonder why so in vogue.

I always saw it as a more holistic term. Someone who isnt just limited to just being an actor or just being a director.

Yes, it’s shorthand for someone who (at the very least) combines roles such as creation and performance. It also avoids the idea that there is a division between roles (e.g. calling someone a writer/director when the two jobs are intermingled). It’s arisen over the last decade or so as a way of clarifying this.
