Tour confirmed for the 30th anniversary. Christmas 2024 at Sadler’s Wells. Website link here: new-adventures.net/swan-lake#overviewThere's life outside London, so good to know that Theatre Royal, Plymouth and the Lowry, Salford are on the list.

I saw this last time it was on tour, quite late in the run when it was at the Empire in Liverpool. Had been to loads of musicals, but never a proper dance show before. Was a bit apprehensive as I know nothing about dance, and wasn’t sure I’d follow what was going on or be bored by the lack of dialogue/traditional narrative. Needn’t have worried, as I thought it was stunning.
Very excited to see it’s making its comeback, as I’ve enjoyed all the New Adventures shows I’ve seen since but this was on a different level. Will see it at the Lowry, but I’ll have to also try and see it at Sadlers Wells as it really does make a difference having live musicians.

There will be plenty more tour dates to come, as they usually go all round the country and often international dates too. I’m looking forward to it already! 😊

I didn’t bother seeing this when it last played in Liverpool as I thought it wouldn’t be my thing. Though after seeing MB’s Midnight Bell and Edward Scissorhands and really enjoying both of them, I’ll be booking for this if it comes to Liverpool again or when it comes to the Lowry.

I’m really pleased by the casting announcement- recognise quite a few names from previous New Adventures shows. I’ve booked to see this twice so hope to see different combinations for the Swan and Prince. Nice to see Stephen Murray is one of the dancers taking on the Prince role, after his fab performance in Edward Scissorhands.

New production. I know someone working on it, doing it from scratch (or semi, I guess they'll keep what it was best). Now in Plymouth for fine tuning.
