Been waiting till today to get last minute tickets for Let it Be at the Manchester Opera House. I’ve been keeping an eye on the seating plan day by day and it remained fairly static but then suddenly the whole back half of the stalls has disappeared in one fell swoop! And the front of the circle! What’s going on? Nobody has bought all these surely. There have been no recent ticket offers so perhaps it’s a papering company??

There was an offer on the Manchester Theatres website (https://www.manchestertheatres.com/emails/letitbe-manchester.htm), although it's hardly likely to explain what you describe. One possibility that springs to mind is that they want to close the upper circle due to low ticket sales and keep those areas clear to move upper circle ticket holders on arrival.

Just booked three £10 seats at the top. Let it be that we are upgraded!! (See what I did there?)
