The interview on Radio 4's Front Row tonight was a fascinating insight into the world of Sonia Friedman. Well worth a listen on Iplayer.

I think Sonia's a great producer although I do think at times, she does pick safe projects like the Benedict Cumberbatch Hamlet but I imagine other producers like Playful Productions do mix the 'safe projects' with more riskier project like she does.
I wonder how her net worth is? Mormon alone must be raking her a chunk of change and I suspect Harry Potter will as well just from the stage play.

Thanks for letting us know about this programme. I listened to it over the weekend and it was really interesting. Ive met her a few times and she is very nice although slightly scary. She has a lovely dog that seems to be with her all the time.
