According to Deadline, Cameron Crowe is adapting Almost Famous into a Broadway musical with Crowe writing the book and co-writing lyrics with Tom Kitt who is also doing the music.
I think it's a great idea for a musical although I wonder if they'll keep the Tiny Dancer scene?
