According to a report of another theatre related website, this iconic New York, West Village basement showtunes piano bar will be transported to London for five nights. The venue will open at The City of Quebec pub, London's oldest LGBTQ public house, where punters will be treated to performances around the piano and singing bartenders, from 30 October to 3 November.
To say I am excited is an understatement and for the first time ever, I will arrange a show around the bar venue!!!

Does the pub still attract wealthy older gentlemen and rent boys? If so it could make he sing along very interesting.
I’m going to sign Diamonds are a girls bestfriend

So, has anyone been yet? I’ve seen a few pics and clips on twitter and it looks great fun. I’m dying to give it a try but worried all the action seems to happen quite late - I live just outside London so need to worry about the last train home!
Also - mods; perhaps we should now change the thread title to “Overtures”?
