Since we are now entering Pride Season 2018, I just wanna say Happy Pride to everyone on the board! Whatever your preference, the fact we all support one another no matter who we are is amazing, and the love on this board shines through. Keep spreading that love. And if I may be selfish, love to all the friends I have personally made because of this board because your friendships and beliefs have truly changed me! Also, to all the shows that celebrate LGBT+ both in themes and their casts, thank you for continuing the love this year and long may it continue! If anyone is going to any Prides this year, be safe, but have all the fun you can! Peace and love to you all! 😙😙

Happy Pride y'all.
I managed an ultimate fail in arriving in NY the day after Pride, but still. Also this is my annual whinge that Cardiff still chooses to celebrate Pride 2 months after everyone else.
But may your June be full of rainbows. But also remember that Pride started as a protest.

I am now part of the Volunteer Management team of Pride in London. Training for our volunteers has started today. We will need at least 1000 volunteers to make the day run smoothly. So there is a huge amount of work to do between now and 7th July. Fancy being part of the day? Sign up at www.prideinlondon.org/volunteerI have been part of Pride in London for a few years now and it is now a key part of my life. This year will be the biggest ever with a massive parade. Every community group who wanted to be part of the parade has been given a place with sponsors giving up their allocations to give community groups priority. I know some forum members have also volunteered in the past and it would be great to have more joining in the fun. I also know that some resent the way that central London is taken over for the day. All I would say is that it is for one day and is for a very important cause. The fight for equality has not yet been won sadly. Anyway enough of me plugging PiL. Oh Pride in London has just been awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. So we are doing something right!

What lovely sentiments danieljohnson14, can I join in and wish everyone who wants to be wished a happy pride month, a happy pride month (you have to be so careful these days don't you!)
In Manchester of course we have to wait until August for the opportunity to pay to wade through streets littered with empty cans and the contents of stomachs and the opportunity to buy dodgy burgers in the guise of street food!!!
But I'm happy we can.
I like to walk the streets with pride and to prove I've lasted another year!!
