How lovely to see something completely different here. Two fascinating pieces excitingly acted and sung.

Yes, I enjoyed a lot, I thought the Random play was really well acted by just the one actress, and you could sense the devastation felt by the family. The Generations play did bring a tear to my eye at the end, when the grandparents were looking around at the empty kitchen. All in all, very unexpected for Chichester, but then I guess that's what the Minerva is there for, to show different things while the main house pays the bills. Good stuff.

I'd've liked to see this pair of plays but Chichester is a long trip (and ever more fraught, given the train turmoil) and I couldn't make a day of it with anything else nearby. So as the reviews were uniformly good, I'm hoping for a transfer.
