I couldn't find a thread for this (apologies if there is one and I missed it). I was going to post this in Plays but wasn't sure of the etiquette, being that it's an improv show, though it does have the distinction of Guinness World Record for longest running comedy show with the same core cast. Anyone else a fan? It's one of my favourite nights out in London.

I’m a fan of these guys having seen them a few times on visits to London. I was lucky enough to see Paul Merton on one of the visits. I think he’s great on Have I Got News for You, but to see him live was something else.
On this particular show where the cast ask for different genre of films to help set the scene of the sketch, one audience member blurted out BILLY ELLIOT! Now I don’t know If he misheard or what ( though he did appear to have had too much to drink at the time), but it did get a laugh from the audience. Though, when asked for other ideas, all this guy shouted out was BILLY ELLIOT. Fair enough, once was funny, but after a few times, it gets boring. Thankfully the cast managed to shut him up in the end!

Been a few times and always found it a good night out, and given the location and the talent on show, very good value. I'm going to see them at the Globe later in the year, not seen them there before so should be different!
