I’m going to New York for the first time in a few weeks and hoping to catch a show or two when I’m there. While I’m all clues up on the West End and UK theatre scene, what is the best way to get tickets for Broadway? I’ve got a few shows in mind already and I know TodayTix operate over there too, but what’s the best way to get affordable tickets for shows on the other side of the pond?
Would appreciate any tips!!

www.broadwayforbrokepeople.com/ is the best website by far. As with here, all are slightly different and varying levels of competitiveness. You can count on much bigger lines for Rush in New York.

If you don't want to take your chances with a digital lottery or rush tickets, check out www.broadwaybox.com and www.theatermania.com for discount offers. The prices on those sites are higher than you would pay for a lottery or rush ticket, but still less than the box office price. The two sites tend to have the same discounts, but it's worth comparing them.
