Well I hope they’ll consider Urinetown as the opening show.

There used to be a venue in a converted Edwardian toilet under Shepherd's Bush Green which was used for things like comedy nights - Jimmy Carr started there I seem to recall.

There was a public toilet across the road from me that has been converted into a home, presumably with some changes to the plumbing. I gather it was quite nice when it was open. Of course, this now means the nearest public toilet is a fifteen minute walk away, or a lifetime away if you actually need it.

They'll have a cistern in place, it'd be a load of ballcocks if they didn't. I'm looking forward to seeing them take the plunge with this new venture, hope it doesn't tank!

Well I hope they’ll consider Urinetown as the opening show. And starring Ursula Andrex.

Must admit my mind boggled when I saw this subject before a read the posts. Was it referring to productions that were ....was my first thought. Glad to see it was nothing of the sort!

This must be the first time in history that TheatreBoard members have ever been sufficiently interested in theatre in Wales to extend a thread on the subject beyond page 1.

Before you consider the stools seat, do you need to put the seat down?

I wish they’d transformed the public loos that Joe Orton used to frequent in Islington into a Theatre. It would be great to have an Orton theatre in the area (and urinals) he made his home.
