Wondering if anyone has anything like this -
I am giving tickets to my dad and sister as a Christmas present, but it's a "collect at box office" sort of thing and I'd quite like to be able to give them something to open on xmas day. I'd rather not just print the confirmation email out.
Has anyone ever come across a generic theatre ticket "gift voucher" that I can write the details onto to give them? There was a great one online specific to cursed child that I used two years ago but looking for something more "generic"

Why not just use Microsoft Word/paint/[insert app of choice] or some good old fashioned paper and pens to make your own?

Last year I put the ticket confirmation inside a puzzle box for my sister. And in a maze box for my dad. They had some fun solving the puzzles to get the (boring printout) gift.

I buy Mum theatre tickets often and sometimes put a 'themed gift' as a silly clue in a box...so I put a $10 bill in a box for Hamilton for example, or the CD of the person in question if a concert/musical.
Two questions on this: 1. can I fob her off with Angels in America tickets 'for her' this Christmas 2. How can I fit those wings in a box?

Yeah, I made quite a nice sort of greetings card to tell my Dad I'd be taking him to Julius Caesar for his birthday. Doesn't need to be fancy, just get a decent show image, add the pertinent info in a nice font, and print on card instead of paper if possible. |

Use oneof the on line cardmaking sites/apps like moonpig. Choose a photo upload option ( they have ones where the entire front of the card is your selected photo) upload an appropriate image from the web and add your words to the inside. Then choose the “send to me” option so you can hand it over on the day. About £3.50.

You can even hand write the words for the inside of a card on a piece of paper, take a pic of it, and upload this to the inside of the card if you don’t want it to look like the greeting was typed. I know some will think it’s terrible but haven’t hand written a card for about ten years. And don’t be giving me the “ooh that’s so impersonal” guilt trip, they only go in the bin don’t they. A friend of mine who is super minimalistic takes cards from the doormat, opens them, reads them and puts them straight in the rubbish. He says he can’t stand how messy they look. I’m not quite there... yet  |

Readers of um...another thread....will know that I am giving tickets as a gift..... despite what Tictatormaster tells me I can or cannot do.
I have photocopied the original email that says "Tibidabo! You are going to Hamilton!" blutacking a tiny blank piece of paper over my name. I've then written the recipient's name in its place, in sparkly pen. I've rolled it up into a scroll and used a stretchy band with some little jingly bells on to secure it. (The jingly bells came from round the top of a Molton Brown Christmas flavoured hand soap.) I've then bought a medium sized Christmas gift box from Paperchase, put some gorgeous matching tissue paper inside and placed the jingly scroll nestling within. I've tied the box with a glittery ribbon and it looks sumptuous.
All I can say is that it's a shame the rapping won't be as good as the wrapping..

I ended up having a play in Paint and have made a voucher and wrapped it up in a box - They'll not guess from shaking it that's for sure!

I'm taking my dad to the twilight zone so bought some reasonable book versions on eBay and will put a little note inside, he loves sci-fi books as well so it's like hitting two birds with one stone . I think it could be quite easy and fun just to find on eBay or abe books.
