I have an issue where type the @theatremonkey address in Chrome or Safari and it's keep saying server not found but weirdly when you use a search engine and click the link, you can access the website. Seems weird that a search link works but not typing in the URL? Wonder if anyone else has had similar issues?

Could it be that you are entering .com twice?

The website has long been in my list of favourites so I never need to search for it but here I have found an odd issue whereby if I type it in, the ".com" part appears twice in any posts.

I recently started having this issue with some other sites on Safari, "server not found" after pasting in the address. However the sites work fine on Firefox. I just tested the theatremonkey site on Safari and that opened but definitely had the same problem as you Jon for other sites.

Typing the url directly into both Chrome and Firefox working okay for me.

I managed to fix the problem by changing to OpenDNS, I normally use Google DNS but it seems to be working okay now.

All working, apart from some server maintenance. Odd. Thanks for telling me. Do you think the server maintenance might have caused the issue. Switching DNS did the trick so perhaps it was connecting on some servers but not others.
