Love it or hate it, it's that time again. In an ideal world, travelling by train would be affordable year round, without having to rely on the kindness of Virgin to halve fares.
The east coast route is already on sale, and ends of Wednesday. If you've got a Nectar card, there are also a load of bonus points to be had.
The west coast sale starts on Thursday, and runs for five days.
All aboard!!!

You could always clear out some of that tinned salmon you've been hoarding.
And I believe they are called locomotives these days!!
