I would love to see Me and My Girl at Chichester and Stemp would be dream casting. I saw the excellent production at The Crucible a few years back. It definitely wasn't directed by Evans. It had Daniel Crossley as Snibson and The Magnificent Margoleyes was also in the cast.

I think that it is a very Chichester thing to co-produce remounts of other companies' successful productions at Chichester and then transfer them to the West End and UK tour. In the last couple of years, they've done this with Love's Labour's Lost and Much Ado about Nothing (RSC) and This House (NT). They wouldn’t do this with their main house musical. [br Agreed

Why is Charlie Stemp dream casting for Me and My Girl when it's practically the same part he played in Sixpence? That would be boring for him and boring for the audience.

Please not Charlie Stemp. He was very good in Half A Sixpence, but Bill Snibson doesn't need all the mugging and energy that Stemp has. It has to be much more natural. Stemp worked very hard and it showed. If they ever do and London revival, and i hope they do it soon, it will be a big name in the lead and Charlie Stemp isn't there yet.

Taron Egerton is my first choice for Bill
with katherine kelly as lady jacqueline
Sally is a bit trickier but i wonder if Emma Wiliams could pull it off
