I would like to go but tickets are way too expensive. I hope Lyn Paul does Tell Me It's Not True.

They even want to charge you thirty quid to stand at the back. Ridiculous.

And Marti Pellow too...yuck. haha... I did say the line-up was a bit of a mixed bag! Have to say I hadn't looked at the ticket prices when I posted the link - rather less 'run' at those prices!

I was there tonight. It was amazing, lasted nearly three hours but I still didn't want it to end. So many great voices, funny stories, wonderful orchestra all finished off with Tommy Steele singing Thank You Very Much.
As you would expect both Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber were part of the show, along with Don Black who presented it.
The audience was very appreciative and there were a lot of standing ovations even though this is a radio show. Joe McElderry was brilliant singing a song from Joseph and Glen Carter sang Gethsemane beautifully.
I have been to a few Friday Night is Music Nights now and without exception they have all been terrific so if you have a chance to attend one of these shows go for it.
