Good idea in theory, but when you're giving one prize worth £200 away and its gone in 10 seconds... maybe try to rethink because all it does is get people frustrated.

To be fair to them, it's a very good marketing strategy. Try and get people hooked on the app all day and ideally fixed upon the idea of going to see a specific show. Try and get the code. Once all the codes have been used up you have got your sights set on a show so much you then can't help yourself but from booking just to quench that desire. Well, I guess that it was the purpose of it is.

The strategy I tried was have my old phone on with a ticket at checkout and the discount redemption thing open, and then the app on my current phone ready to search. Yes, strategic - and a bit sad that I had that much spare time haha, but for this sort of thing how can people expect to win if they don't go all out?

Nope!! For the last three codes I managed to enter the code and it was accepted, and then swiped across. By that point it was invalid. Literally after 4 or 5 seconds. |
