The advertisements say: "Warning contains strong sexual content, brief nudity and musical theatre references" needless to say I booked for next Saturday.

Well. It's all very slight but very sweet. Did think the ending was a bit abrupt though.
Nice performances from the two actors but a really lovely one from Oliver Coppersmith. Not sure I quite take him as a 16 year old but it's a delightful performance nonetheless.
For lovers of a velour tracksuit though, you'll be in heaven.

Just back from this and it was terrific. Oliver Coopersmith was amazing. I think it's deeper than Ryan ( see above) does and I can easily see it having an extended life beyond this engagement . Happy that I went. Audience loved it.

I'm intrigued now, though I still have no idea of the play's subject matter, so will have to look it up. Was actually at the same venue this evening, albeit in the other space, and pleasant as the evening was, I'm wondering whether I'd have done better to see this.
