The West End really is targeting the nostalgia crowd at the moment.

Very pleased for Damian Williams, who has been the dame in the Sheffield panto for 17 or 18 years. I often see him in the M&S foodhall. Apparently, his dressing room port parties are legendary!

This actually looks quite fun, but with nothing below £77 all the way back to Row P of the Stalls, I'll take a calculated risk and hold off buying a ticket in advance.

Booked my tickets for first night in Manchester. Discounts decent for ATG members

This was perfectly fine at the Fringe, but it isn't a West End show...

Just checked a random matinee in march and the prices aren’t so bad in the upper circle but the balcony is already shut off which isn’t always the best sign. Another thing I noticed was it’s been marketed as “guaranteed to be the funniest night in the west end” which is a very bold claim from the producers but we will see!

This was perfectly fine at the Fringe, but it isn't a West End show... I agree it seems very much like an 80 minute fringe show. Delfont Mackintosh must have been completely stuck for something for the Noel Coward (which really surprises me) as there's a four week gap and then this for only four weeks. At least it's not 2:22 so we must be grateful for small mercies, but here's hoping a really good production will come into the Coward in April.

The prices are actually reasonable for a show on in the west end, but having seen the show...ridiculous 😂
This should have gone to somewhere like the Park.

Only 4 weeks though so it's evidently filling a gap Dr Strangelove was announced a year ago and it extended an extra month until January 25th a few months ago. It just surprises me that productions weren't fighting for the Noel Coward when Dr Strangelove ended. But that doesn't seem to have been the case. Tells us a lot about how difficult it really is to bring shows into the West End

As a student of comedy, I'd love to see this, but with nothing affordable near the front, and being a bit skint, I'll cross my fingers for a better offer come the day.

It was about an hour ten minutes at the Fringe, especially at those West End prices I wonder if they'll extend it into a full two act play.
It's a shame because it's a lovely play full of laughs and three brilliant performances, but I do find it quite ironic that a play about comedy made for the masses is priced at such an elitist level.
