As usual on St Patrick's Day the home page for this board is covered by animated stereotypical Irish images celebrating St Patrick's Day. I'm surprised such tedious displays of nationalism are thought acceptable these days.

I think it's a bit of fun - my Ma and Pa were Irish and I have my Irish passport. Made me smile. It's so frigging grim out there in the real world, flag waving aggressors, 'tis a bit of whimsy and I'm good with it.

As a proud holder of a green Passport may I wish everyone a Happy Day! (like most I don't believe he really existed.) After all why not celebrate when you can.
Even you Jan. I assure you we don’t take it at all seriously, it’s supposed to be a light-hearted occasion and I LOVED the surprise (to me) graphics. The legend may have become associated and indeed adopted with/by the Irish but Nationalism? Seriously. (Never mind. I'm moving on).
Cead mile failte.

I'm seeing nothing on the mobile version. What am I missing out on?

I'm seeing nothing on the mobile version. What am I missing out on? The festive overlays are only visible on the desktop version. I’ve switched it off now as it’s the end of the day.
