I thought it was going to be a camp suite of dance and it is to a certain extent but something happens that it makes it all very emotional. Wow.
The jazz quartet and dancers are stunning.
I imagine every seat gives a good view.
How producers are charging 150 squid for a 1 hour show smacks of pure greed. Rant over because it really is great. Loved it.

Loved this tonight. Person I wanted to see wasn’t on, but was really enjoyable regardless. Fun, camp, rather sexy at times, and quite touching too. Wasn’t sure about the music from the trailer but loved hearing the jazz-ified Tchaikovsky played live. And with it being only about an hour long I was able to watch the 5.30 show and still have plenty of time to walk to the Gielgud for Old Friends.

Out of interest, who did you want to see? Sam Salter. Saw him years ago playing one of the Jets in the last big tour of West Side Story. |
